Today's project is in honor of my great grandma's 97th birthday. When I got married, she gave me an afghan and some crocheted snowflakes, and these snowflakes she made were actually kind of the theme of our wedding. My grandma once drew a sketch of the snowflake ornaments, which my mom had made into rubber stamps and used on our invitations and programs. We did similar snowflakes on the cake too.
So I made my Christmas glitter cards with my wedding snowflake stamps, but you can achieve a similar sparkly effect with any stamp, of course!
Supplies
- Christmas/winter-themed rubber stamps
- Glue stamp pad (mine's from Martha Stewart via Michael's)
- Blank cards
- Glitter
These are so easy - I cranked out a set within 10 minutes. They could be a nice little gift wrapped up with a bow, or you can send out your own Christmas greetings with them. Of course the possibilities are endless for designs and colors, but I liked the blue/silver since they still look holiday-ish but steer away from "Christmas colors" for once.
I love the glitter design! :)
