1 - glitter monogram ornaments

For day 1 of the 12 days of Christmas crafts, here's one of the easiest Pottery Barn knockoffs ever: glitter edged monogram ornaments.

Supplies:
  • White cardstock/paper
  • Scalloped-edge scissors
  • Glitter
  • Glue
  • Grommets
  • Ribbon
  • Circle cutter (optional, but makes things easier!)
Start by printing out some letters for monograms, leaving enough space to cut a circle around the letter. Then cut some larger circles from cardstock with the scalloped scissors; the inside of this larger circle should fit your monogram circle.

Put glue around the scalloped edge, sprinkle with glitter, and shake off excess. Paste the monogrammed circle inside.

Punch a hole to add the grommet, string some ribbon through, and hang! These could also form a fun banner or garland, depending on how you string them up:

Pottery Barn has some other variations with music sheets and patterned backgrounds - you could cut a circle from any Christmas themed paper and paste it inside to get this type of look.
